Here are a couple of sample uses to give you an idea of the kind of data that could be presented in the Oriador Viewer.
The Web Browser Sample
One of our products is a web browser, with some cool features for saving pages, links and fragments, which you can add to "projects". Maybe you see where this is going, if I export the browser history in the Oriador Viewer format, I can see what I've been looking at, and which project it relates to.
I can quickly identify and go back to the web page I visited last thursday lunch time for a support call, or I can do some reporting or analysis to see how much time I've been spending on the web for each project. If I want to take it from a different angle, I can use the viewer to see how much time I've wasted browsing the web, both by site and by project.

The TV Listings Sample
This might be a little off the wall, but it was the first thing that popped into my head.
It seems quite simple to get hold of TV listings in an XML format, so I've imagined the data refactored into the Oriador Viewer format. For something like this, the viewer would probably be loading the file from a live web service, so that only the most up to date information was given.
By making that web service the default, each time the user opened the Oriador Viewer, it would connect to the service, download the current data, and present it in a timeline. For the screenshots, I've shown some sample channels grouped by type, and I've shown the view where the items show different colours depending on their type. I could add extra categorisations, maybe censor ratings, or language and subtitle groupings.
I've also shown the tooltip feedback, where the name of the show and the time pops up for the user. This could be expanded to show the full show description. A click on a show might Google the show name, open IMDB, a relevant sports fansite, or launch an application that programs your vcr timer, or queue the show for recording on a Media Center PC. Or you might prefer to link to the iTunes page for the show, so you can download and buy it for your iPod.
